Job description

Eaton's CPA Low Voltage Busway division is currently seeking a Material Planning Analyst to join their team. This position is located in ONSITE Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm at our Hodges and Greenwood, SC. Relocation assistance is available for candidates who reside outside a 50-mile radius of those locations.
The Materials Planning Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and adjusting daily and weekly production schedules to align with demand, capacity, and material availability. This role serves as the central liaison for steel operations, logistics, and quality, while driving continuous improvements across the production process. This exciting opportunity provides ownership of all steel-related activities across the operation and the chance to serve as the central liaison among steel operations, logistics, and quality. It also offers meaningful impact through maintaining 5S standards and driving continuous improvement in workflow and operational efficiency.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $71,000 - $105,000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:
In this role:
• Own and oversee all steel related activities across the operation.
• Ensure accurate, timely delivery of all steel materials and maintain up to date steel lead times in the system.
• Forecast steel requirements based on the current production schedule and collaborate daily with the Production Scheduler to maintain proper inventory levels.
• Manage all steel related Kanban items and ensure all ordered steel is received and correctly accounted for.
• Act as the primary point of contact for steel inquiries, issues, expedite requests, and critical customer order updates for Sales and Operations.
• Track and obtain updates on all remake orders, ensuring remakes are processed only after verifying material availability at Hodges and LH.
• Coordinate with the Quality team on all steel related quality concerns and support overall system accuracy.
• Maintain 5S standards in the steel area and promote continuous improvement for workflow and operational efficiency.
• Adapt to evolving business needs by taking on new and expanded responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with minimum 2 years of experience in a supply chain and/or production function OR a High School Diploma/GED with minimum 3 years of experience in in a supply chain and/or production function
