FAMILY & MARRIAGE COUNSELOR/ PART TIME/ CONTRACT
We are seeking a compassionate, licensed Family and Marriage Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide therapy for couples, families, and individuals to address relationship challenges, improve communication, and foster personal growth.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
  • Active Illinois licensure (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW, or equivalent)
  • 2-3 years of direct counseling experience in family or marriage therapy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, EFT, or Solution-Focused Therapy)
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and basic computer applications

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to client needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals and community partners as needed
  • Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary
  • Facilitate group counseling or educational workshops on topics such as conflict resolution, parenting, and relationship building
  • Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities
