Job description

Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center is seeking a positive, people-focused Part-Time Weekend Adoption Counselor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with both pets and people and wants to play a meaningful role in helping dogs and cats find their forever homes. The hours for this position are Saturday and Sunday from 8AM-4:30PM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service to visitors, adopters, and families
  • Assist guests in finding the right pet match
  • Support daily shelter operations in a fastpaced, teamoriented environment
    • Qualifications:
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
  • Friendly, enthusiastic, and comfortable engaging with the public
  • Passion for animal welfare and helping homeless pets
  • Must be available to work both weekend days
