Dare to Care too is a Multi Specialty Practice that serves the Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia area by providing a wide range of services including but not limited to the assessment and treatment of children ages six (6) and older and adults with physical and behavioral health disorders utilizing a comprehensive approach.

Job Description
Energetic, caring and open minded clinicians with a passion for caring. Candidates will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a therapeutic relationship with the clients they see for individual, family or group therapy in person and through telemedicine. While doing this they would also be able to the following:
  • Provide a therapeutic environment that engages and encourages clients to participate in sessions to address various issues.
  • Support, encourage, and promote mental health stability and well-being.
  • Supports clients in obtaining a reality-based perspective of their environment by helping to correct obvious distortions.
  • Supports clients in the development of social supports including friends, family, members of the community, and service providers in order to promote positive interactions.
  • Supports clients in establishing and developing self-esteem by identifying existing and emerging positive characteristics, traits, and contributions.
  • Provides a culturally sensitive therapeutic milieu that allows clients to identify and deal with their specific concerns.
  • Supports clients in the development of communication skills, social skills, problem-solving skills, and coping skills.
  • Supports clients in identifying and meeting basic needs including, medical and psychiatric care, etc.
  • Participates as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Will provide documentation for all services provided. Documentation will be submitted in our Electronic Health Record in a timely manner.
Will participate in activities and other duties as assigned
Experience in at least one of the following modalities:
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy
  • Motivational Interviewing.
  • Sand Tray Therapy.
  • Art Therapy.
  • and other treatment modalities

Individuals must be independently licensed in Maryland, DC or Virginia to provide therapy/counseling services. CNS, Nurse Therapist, LPC, LICSW, LCPC, Marriage Counselor
Qualifications

Will consider fully licensed staff only; no interns
Additional Information

Insurance credentialling required upon initiation of contract. A minimum of 18 months commitment is required
seeking candidates who are available to work two to five days per week.
