This position primarily operates in a remote setting, allowing for flexible work arrangements while ensuring that you remain an integral part of our support network. While you will connect with clients through a secure telehealth platform, our counseling practice also encourages collaboration among team members, making use of regular virtual meetings to maintain a cohesive and supportive atmosphere. In this role, you may occasionally meet clients in our outpatient office, ensuring face-to-face interactions when necessary.

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to better understand clients’ mental health concerns, strengths, and available resources, laying the groundwork for tailored treatment plans.
• Offer individual, family, and group therapy grounded in evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring that all goals and interventions are clearly defined and actionable.
• Work in partnership with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients.
• Provide crisis intervention services, conducting risk assessments and developing safety plans when necessary to ensure clients’ immediate safety and well-being.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with ethical standards and organizational policies to track progress and adhere to best practices.

• A valid state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Arizona.
• A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating the ability to conduct effective assessments and implement therapeutic interventions.

• Experience working with a wide range of mental health concerns, particularly those affecting families and relationships.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective collaboration with diverse teams and clients.

At Good Samaritan Marriage Counseling, we offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
