Remote Marriage and Family Therapist | LMFT Job in Florida

Job Summary

A good therapy session gives clients room to talk honestly, make sense of what they are experiencing, and leave with a clearer next step. In this remote LMFT role, you will provide that kind of clinical support to clients across Florida through secure virtual sessions.

You may work with couples trying to rebuild communication, families adjusting to change, or individuals who need support with stress, anxiety, grief, relationship patterns, or emotional strain. This role requires someone who can listen carefully, ask the right questions, document clearly, and keep care moving in a useful direction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead telehealth sessions that are focused, respectful, and clinically appropriate
  • Evaluate client needs through intake conversations, assessments, and ongoing observation
  • Develop treatment plans that connect directly to the client's concerns and goals
  • Support clients dealing with relationship strain, family conflict, parenting pressure, loss, anxiety, depression, and adjustment concerns
  • Use therapy techniques that fit the client's presentation and scope of care
  • Monitor client progress and make changes to the treatment approach when needed
  • Keep all documentation complete, timely, and aligned with professional standards
  • Protect client information across all virtual communication and recordkeeping
