Job description

TRP Infrastructures is seeking an experienced Foreman - Pavement Marking to lead our pavement marking crews and ensure the safe and efficient application of pavement markings in line with company standards and safety regulations. This role is pivotal in maintaining high-quality road safety measures and enhancing traffic flow for the traveling public.

The successful candidate will oversee daily operations at multiple site locations, manage crew assignments, and enforce compliance with departmental guidelines and DOT standards.

Position Type: Full-time

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise pavement marking crews to carry out striping, thermoplastic, waterborne paint, epoxy, and other marking applications.
  • Plan and assign daily work schedules based on project requirements and crew availability.
  • Ensure all pavement marking layouts conform to project specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor the quality of work, maintain production schedules, and communicate progress to management.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing health and safety protocols and using appropriate traffic control measures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and vehicles; ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Handle administrative duties such as daily reporting, labor hour tracking, and materials usage documentation.
  • Train new and existing crew members on proper equipment use, safety procedures, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in crew leadership within pavement marking or related infrastructure construction.
  • Strong knowledge of pavement marking materials, techniques, and quality control standards.
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations and ability to comply with all safety and quality standards.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license; CDL Class B with air brake endorsement preferred but not mandatory.
  • Certification as Basic Flagger from ATSSA is preferred.
  • Physically able to lift heavy materials, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and manage strenuous tasks.
