Job description

Marking Operator

We are looking for an additional laser operator to mark our security seals. A great marking operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training will be provided - no prior experience is required as long as you are willing to learn and improve. Being self motivated and a team player is essential. Setting up and starting new markings is done in collaboration with co-workers but the majority of the tasks are performed singlehandedly. The goal is to ensure production procedures are carried out smoothly to maximize efficiency and consistency.

This job can be filled as either a part-time or full-time position.


Responsibilities

  • Set up new marking in the computer to start new production cycles
  • Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
  • Continuously feed blank material (security seals) for laser marking
  • Ongoing inspection of finished parts
  • Keep records of approved and defective items and final products
  • Maintain activity logs

Skills

  • No prior experience as an operator is necessary
  • Working knowledge of basic computer programming is a plus
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations
