Job Description
The Project Industrialization Marking Engineer will be a team member of the Industrialization engineering organization which works at a system level across Rockwell Automation. We work with development teams to define the strategy for manufacturing process flow, labeling and packaging. You will have a broad understanding of Rockwell Automation's products, teams and the product lifecycle. The Project Engineer will guide projects to identify marking strategies focused on requirements for ESPR (Eco-design for Sustainable Products Regulation) of products internally and with third-party product suppliers. You will develop and implement marking strategies through global partners within the engineering, manufacturing, test and other process support teams.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Create standardized product marking development, change management and documentation
  • Implement label standardization efforts with factored product suppliers
  • Direct the efforts of assigned drafters for all documentation requirements
  • Manage communication with your department and suppliers for all necessary changes
  • Support the initiative projects to ensure all updates meet future requirements
  • Collaborate with product compliance teams developing strategies to meet the ESPR requirements
  • Partner with Industrial Design team to ensure product marking design updates supports product requirements, and marking strategy
  • Support product through lifecycle insuring proper execution of organization's philosophy
  • Manages process improvement programs
  • Gain and maintain the support of team members and decision makers required to achieve product marking decisions

The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's of Science degree in engineering field of study
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • 5+ years of direct or closely related engineering experience
  • Excel at persuading through presentations, discussions, and the documentation of technical information
  • Manage third-party relationships and work with customers
  • Collaborate across a large organization
