Forward Traffic & Marking is hiring a skilled and motivated Fleet Mechanic in Cadott, WI to support our growing operations across Wisconsin. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FLEET MECHANIC

As a Fleet Mechanic, you'll help keep our vehicles and equipment running safely and efficiently. Most of your work will be done in our shop, but you may also travel to job sites. You'll inspect and repair gas and diesel engines, perform routine maintenance, and fix issues with electrical and hydraulic systems. You'll also complete yearly safety checks, follow DOT rules, and use diagnostic tools to solve problems. Some welding or fabrication work may be needed. Keeping your work area clean, tracking repairs, and staying in touch with managers are important parts of the job.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

You need a high school diploma or GED, three years of vehicle repair experience preferred, and a valid driver's license with a clean record. The ability to maintain a FEDMED card is required. A CDL is preferred or must be able to obtain. You must be physically capable of lifting 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, and working in various positions. This position requires flexibility to work overtime when needed, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
