Job description

Forward Traffic & Marking is one of Wisconsin's trusted leaders in traffic control and pavement marking services. We're looking for a motivated, organized, and driven Assistant Project Manager to help deliver high-quality projects throughout Northeast and Northcentral Wisconsin.

What You'll Do
As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting projects from planning through completion by:
  • Assisting the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and executing projects
  • Coordinating field crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials
  • Communicating with customers, contractors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure project success
  • Monitoring project schedules, budgets, and progress
  • Assisting with project documentation, inspections, quality control, and closeout activities
  • Helping ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory safety standards
  • Promoting Forward Traffic & Marking's commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who is:
  • A high school graduate or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred)
  • Experienced with 2 or more years in the construction industry (traffic control, pavement marking, or roadway construction experience is a plus)
  • In possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Able to reliably report to our Little Chute, WI location and travel to project sites as needed
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning construction management software
  • Highly organized with strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities while working collaboratively with field and office teams
