What You'll Do
  • Set up and remove lane closures, road closures, and other traffic control devices.
  • Load, unload, and transport traffic control equipment and materials.
  • Install and remove temporary and permanent pavement markings.
  • Install and maintain arrow boards, portable changeable message signs (PCMS), barricades, drums, signs, and crash cushions.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on traffic control equipment.
  • Assist with shop organization, equipment preparation, and inventory.
  • Read maps and traffic control plans to ensure proper work zone setup.
  • Work safely around live traffic while maintaining a clean and organized job site.
What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to maintain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (FEDMED).
  • CDL preferred or willingness to obtain one.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding work.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, overtime, and travel as needed.
  • Strong work ethic, communication skills, and commitment to safety.
