Description
As a senior marketing data analyst, you will aggregate and perform analysis on demand generation and marketing data based on requests from project teams or senior leadership by integrating data from multiple data sources or functional areas. You will ensure data accuracy and integrity; updates data as needed and develop queries or reports to provide data for various analytical projects. This position is also responsible for interpreting key market data to identify business trends, conducting root cause analysis of business problems, and proposing areas for process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead large, handles complex analytics and reporting projects, delivering accurate, accessible, and repeatable business reporting and insights to stakeholders across all levels.
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge in the business and data landscape, standardized reporting, experimentation, and analysis to support performance discussions across multiple channels.
  • Proactively help the business leverage data and insights to enhance our ability to inform on event management efforts and increase the efficacy of our approaches. Provide rhythm of the business analytics support, actionable insights, and recommendations to optimize and scale flagship events.
  • Apply a customer/stakeholder-oriented focus and user experience design best practices to ensure data analysis is easily consumable through visualization, presentation, and storytelling.
  • Working with technical team on technical requirements to enable data availability, data quality, transformations, and integrity for analytics and wider business self-service usage.
  • Execute data analysis using multiple data sets and sources. Lead discussions interpreting results and connecting them to relevant business context. Provide actionable recommendations to optimize business investments in a way that can be repeated and scaled as needed.
  • Define, build, and maintain performance metrics, dashboards, and analysis. Provide relevant information in an automated, self-service, and efficient manner to enable business optimization and tracking.
  • Provides coaching, and/or mentoring to other members of the group and act as a data analytics lead.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 2+ years’ experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years’ experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • 1+ years’ experience utilizing SQL AND Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
  • 1+ years’ experience with Python and/or R for statistical analysis and data modeling is a plus
  • 2+ year of hands-on experience with Data Analytics tools and services or like products/services.
  • Ability to foster teamwork, analytical thinking skills, statistical knowledge, technical expertise, computer skills, detail oriented, ability to meet deadlines, mathematical skills, project management skills.
  • Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) applications in a marketing context is a plus.
