Job description

Overview
It is the responsibility of the Database Marketing Analyst under the direction of the Director - Database Marketing to provide in-depth analysis and guidance across the entire business in support of the divisional executive's efforts to further grow the business, generate revenue and optimize profitability.
Responsibilities
  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Develop and generate daily/weekly/monthly marketing and other statistical reports and analyses.
  • Coordinate and support marketing planning, including short and long term forecasting.
  • Maintain databases for marketing and other statistical data.
  • Continually expected to improve and support the annual budget process.
  • Develops historical, current and potential future trend analysis.
  • Assists in assessing and communicating marketing results to senior management.
  • Supports review meetings with managers to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Communicates effectively with all levels of management.
  • Maintain excellent communication skills and interpersonal relations with guests, vendors, visitors and Golden Nugget staff.
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned, weekend shifts required.

Qualifications
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel--ability to create pivot table, formulas and VLOOKUP.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English and articulate.
  • Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to take initiative, be detail oriented and self-motivated.
  • Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration.
  • Minimum age requirement is 21.
  • Bachelor's Degree in the area of Finance, Business or Accounting required.
  • Strong mathematical skills and data analysis skills required.
  • Must possess basic and advanced mathematical skills to include arithmetic, algebra, graphing, probability and statistics specific to position responsibilities.
  • Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
  • Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.
