Job description

We are looking to hire an experienced Data Analyst with strong skills in data analysis, visualization, and business intelligence to transform complex data into clear and meaningful insights This role is ideal for a data professional who enjoys exploring data, identifying trends and opportunities, and using visualization techniques to tell compelling stories with data.

This position combines data analysis, visualization, SQL, and business intelligence skills. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, comfortable working with complex datasets, and skilled at translating analytical findings into visualizations that make information easier to understand and act upon.

Job Duties

·         Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that provide meaningful insights into operations and performance.

·         Explore and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, relationships, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.

·         Apply statistical analysis and modeling techniques to identify trends and patterns, evaluate business questions, and support informed decision-making.

·         Collaborate with stakeholders across court administration to understand business needs, define requirements, and translate them into effective analytics solutions.

·         Use data storytelling and visualization best practices to communicate complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

·         Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, combine, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.

·         Perform data profiling and validation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of analytical and reporting data.

·         Work with IT teams, data owners, and business stakeholders to investigate data issues and improve data quality and reporting processes.

·         Evaluate existing dashboards and reporting solutions and recommend enhancements to usability, performance, visualization, and analytical value.

·         Identify opportunities to improve data collection, business processes, reporting standards, and analytics practices.

·         Support and advance the organization’s business intelligence capabilities through best practices, reusable solutions, and visualization standards.

·         Help stakeholders become more effective consumers of data by guiding their interpretation of dashboards, metrics, and analytical findings.

Requirements

·         Five or more years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data visualization, or a related field.

·         Demonstrated experience using Tableau to develop interactive dashboards and compelling visualizations.

·         Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases and complex datasets.

·         Experience performing data analysis to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights.

·         Experience gathering requirements and translating business questions into analytical and reporting solutions.

·         Understanding of data visualization principles, dashboard design, and reporting best practices.

·         Working knowledge of data modeling and the relationships between source data, analytical datasets, and reporting solutions.
