Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Operations Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production processes and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to lead a team effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring that our production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety within the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Participate as a key member of the plant leadership team, empowering the organization to attain its operational goals.
  • Coordinate production schedule to ensure OTD
  • Champion Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement efforts focused on prevention to improve quality and profitability.
  • Develop and communicate a total quality vision and builds commitment to this vision throughout the organization.
  • Achieve goals and objectives by analyzing and monitoring manufacturing processes, product quality, and production costs against forecasts. Identify and resolve problems, develop long-term solutions to ensure operations plan achievement.
  • Develop an operations team focused on quality, efficiency, and cost by implementing effective hiring, communication, performance management, and training practices.
  • Develop, communicate, and maintain manufacturing specifications, ensuring strict adherence throughout the plant.
  • Lead changes in all aspects of manufacturing, process engineering, and quality assurance to increase efficiency, improve product quality, and maintain compliance with all environmental, health, and safety requirements.
  • Team with sales and customer support to ensure customer inquiries regarding product performance and tolerances are answered accurately and promptly.
  • Oversee evaluation and implementation of Corrective Action Records (CAR) and monitor CAR's long-term effectiveness.
  • Handle disposition of non-conforming materials at all levels of manufacturing.
  • Promote open communication and encourage employee suggestions to improve quality, efficiency, safety, and communication.
