Job description

Onsite Staffing Operations Manager — Mayfield, KY

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (flexibility required), plus Saturday or Sunday twice a month

Reporting to the IWO Director, the Onsite Staffing Operations Manager manages client and employee relationships and oversees workforce operations at a client manufacturing facility — including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, workforce planning, retention initiatives, and client support. This role is the primary liaison between Impact Workforce Solutions, client leadership, and the onsite workforce, ensuring staffing goals, productivity targets, and employee engagement objectives are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support open requisitions
  • Qualify and place candidates to open requisitions
  • Support coordination of new hire orientation
  • Manage active headcount
  • Perform new hire backgrounds, drug screens, and timely onboarding
  • Support payroll hours submission
  • Perform/assist in employee terminations
  • Serve as main contact for hiring managers, client HR, and employees
  • Partner with client managers on recruiting/retention solutions
  • Evaluate staffing strategy and plans
  • Coaching, counseling, and mentoring
  • Performance reviews and attendance tracking
  • Manage client employee relations investigations with support, documentation, and guidance
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1–3 years' manufacturing and/or logistics operational experience
  • 1–3 years' prior operations experience in a manufacturing or distribution center environment
  • Recruiting experience a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
