Reports To: Manufacturing Engineering Manager Description:Supports the production process with direction from the engineers responsible for the project. Responsibilities:Daily support of manufacturing process equipment and controls.Onsite problem solving in real time.Communication with engineering and maintenance staff to ensure knowledge of issues.Monitor and collect data in support of improvement activities.Schedule and run trial parts.Submit parts to testing lab for analysis.Development and modification of robot programs.Troubleshooting equipment issues with PLC monitoring software.Must work in a safe manner in compliance with KNA policies and maintain an awareness of danger to themselves and others.Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures. Qualifications:Education Required:AS Degree in Mechatronics, pre-engineering, related study, or three plus years manufacturing experienceTraining Required: As required. Skills Required: Microsoft Office Experience (Excel, Word, Project)PLC monitoring and troubleshootingRobotic programmingExperience Required:Three plus years in support of manufacturing processes. This job description should not be construed to imply that these requirements are exclusive standards of the position.
