ResourceTek is the Human Capital division of Barge Design Solutions, a multi-discipline Engineering and Architecture firm. We specialize in providing technical recruitment and staffing services to industry and government in all areas of Engineering, Information Technology, and a broad range of other Technical disciplines. In support of our client, a global leader in the development and manufacturing of high value-added aluminum products and solutions, ResourceTek is seeking an Operations Technology Engineer to join their team in Muscle Shoals, AL. The right candidate will be responsible for the daily operational planning, organizing, and executing of all OT functions at the location. This includes managing OT operations to meet customer requirements, collaborating with cross-functional operational teams in areas such as maintenance and automation, supporting and maintaining existing applications, and providing guidance to cross-functional teams while building solutions related to IT/OT operations. This position will focus on local operations, plant capabilities, and will report to the Automation Engineering Manager. This is a direct hire opportunity. SUMMARY The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of IT and OT principles to apply industry best practices to the array of legacy and modern operational technology architectures and technologies. This role will proactively collaborate effectively on solutions and priorities by working closely with the Automation Engineering group, local and global IT group, as well as maintenance and operations groups across the site.
