Key Duties & Responsibilities
The Lockheed Martin Space Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking an Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer to be part of a team in Courtland, AL producing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity!
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support production operations.
The role will require strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
In this exciting role you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Work with Manufacturing Engineering tools such as CREO, Windchill, SAP and more and technologies such as SIMIO to optimize production processes and improve efficiency
Support the setup of production lines and assembly equipment, ensuring that all systems are functioning correctly and safely
Create and maintain Manufacturing Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure that all production processes are well-documented and followed consistently
Develop, edit, and maintain Manufacturing Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure that all components and materials are accurately tracked and managed
