 A day in the life: 

As the Product Development Manager, you will lead projects with flavor houses, suppliers, and production facilities to develop new beverages and raw materials. Manage the review of all formulas created in SAP-Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), ensuring accuracy and readiness for global production. Support complex liquid-development programs, including formulation specifications to ensure successful liquid performance, through projects including analytical testing, stability testing and sensory evaluation across the formula portfolio. Contribute to the product support program by addressing technical issues related to formulas in the field.

The impact you'll make:
  • Lead the Technical Transfer Program based on innovation learnings by review of formula scale up, stability, and stress tests.
  • Manage the end-to-end review of all formulas within SAP-PLM, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and readiness for worldwide production, while upholding data integrity and alignment with global quality and regulatory standards.
  • Lead cross-functional high complex product development projects in partnership with flavor houses, raw-material suppliers, and global production facilities to drive the creation of new beverages and ingredient systems that meet Monster's technical, regulatory, and commercialization requirements.
  • Develop and refine formulation specifications and coordinating analytical testing, stability studies, and sensory evaluations to ensure robust liquid performance across the product portfolio.
  • Existing product support leadership for Americas : Serve as a technical escalation point for in-market products, providing timely troubleshooting and cross-functional support to address formula-related issues in the field and ensure continuity of quality and supply. Drive collaboration across Technical Innovation, Regulatory, Quality Assurance, and Operations for problem solving by providing technical expertise, communicating formulation impacts, and ensuring that all project deliverables, risk assessments, and technical decisions are clearly aligned and executed.
Who you are:
  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree, Masters desired -- in a Scientific discipline (Food Science, Food Engineering, etc.) or related field.
  • More than 7 years of experience in product development of beverages
  • More than 5 years of experience in other technical roles (Quality and manufacturing, technical services) with a proven record of an understanding of ingredient, formulations, manufacturing, and supply chain
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, PLM systems, SAP experience
  • Travel up to 40% required
