Job Summary
Our client is looking for a dedicated Medical Device Specialist to manage cardiac devices in both clinical and remote settings. This role involves performing comprehensive interrogations, supporting physicians during patient consultations, and ensuring thorough clinical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive interrogation and troubleshooting of cardiac devices during scheduled clinic blocks.
  • Conduct real-time device interrogation and reprogramming during patient consultations to assist physicians.
  • Generate precise diagnostic reports for review by the attending MD.
  • Facilitate enrollment and setup of eligible new implants across major industry platforms.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data transmissions to ensure continuous patient safety.
  • Review and escalate clinically significant findings to the relevant medical personnel.
  • Manage the device clinic database and oversee patient scheduling.
  • Maintain technical proficiency through continuing education and training.

Qualifications
  • One year of experience within the device world, specifically in a cardiology office.
  • Knowledge of device technology, principles, and methods.
  • High-School Diploma (or GED).
  • Driver's license required due to occasional location travel needs.

Experience
  • 1 year of experience in the cardiology device field.

Skills
  • Technical skills in performing device checks and reprogramming with cardiac devices.
  • Proficient communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Requirements
  • Potential work out of the Longmont location on occasion, with no daily travel required.
