Location-Las Vegas, NV
About the Opportunity
Our client is a leading global provider of innovative medical technology focused on minimally invasive solutions for the medical aesthetics and surgical markets. They are seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and execute sales strategies within an assigned geographic territory.
Position Summary
This is a true outside sales, hunter role focused on prospecting, developing new business, and selling advanced capital equipment to dermatologists, plastic surgeons, ophthalmologists, cosmetic surgeons, medical spas, and other aesthetic providers. The Area Sales Manager will identify customer needs, deliver consultative product solutions, build long-term customer relationships, and consistently exceed sales objectives while expanding market share throughout the assigned territory.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Generate sales leads primarily through cold calling on dermatologists, plastic surgeons, facial plastic surgeons, ophthalmologists, cosmetic surgeons, medical spas, and other physicians within the assigned territory.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain a substantial sales pipeline while consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly sales goals.
  • Present products and services to prospective customers through in-office consultations and product demonstrations.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Identify local business opportunities and develop strategic territory growth plans.
  • Utilize clinical specialists, customer references, and internal resources to maximize territory performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective customers throughout the sales cycle.
  • Answer customer questions regarding product features, pricing, financing, and available services.
  • Cross-sell additional products and technologies when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with fellow sales representatives to share best practices and support overall team success.
  • Support and mentor Territory Managers through ongoing coaching and product education.
  • Meet or exceed established sales quotas and performance expectations.
  • Complete all required customer care, finance, and administrative responsibilities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
  • Participate in workshops, trade shows, educational programs, and sales meetings while supporting marketing and clinical initiatives.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding product applications, competitive technologies, and industry trends.
  • Travel extensively throughout the assigned territory with occasional travel outside the territory as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2+ years of successful outside field sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
  • Medical device, capital equipment, aesthetics, or other consultative B2B sales experience preferred.
  • Hunter mentality with strong prospecting and cold-calling skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM platforms preferred.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently from a home office.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territoryas needed.
Compensation
  • Base Salary: $80,000$100,000
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): Up to $250,000+ with uncapped commissions
