International Fitness Equipment Sales Representative

Location: Geneva, IL (Hybrid/Office Preferred)

About Us

We are a growing importer and distributor of premium commercial fitness equipment, serving dealers, gyms, universities, government agencies, and commercial fitness facilities across North America. We are looking for a motivated, results-driven International Sales Representative to expand our global distribution network and develop new business opportunities.

Position Summary

The International Fitness Equipment Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with international distributors, dealers, and commercial customers. This role requires strong sales skills, excellent communication, and the ability to identify opportunities in global markets.

Key Responsibilities

·      Develop and execute international sales strategies to grow revenue.

·      Identify, recruit, and manage distributors and dealers in assigned territories.

·      Build long-term relationships with commercial fitness facilities, retailers, and business partners.

·      Respond promptly to sales inquiries and prepare quotations and proposals.

·      Negotiate pricing, contracts, and distribution agreements.

·      Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely shipment and customer satisfaction.

·      Attend domestic and international trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.

·      Conduct virtual product demonstrations and sales presentations.

·      Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.

·      Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

Qualifications

Required

·      3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in fitness equipment, sporting goods, or commercial equipment.

·      Existing relationships with commercial fitness equipment dealers, distributors, or importers in Europe or Asia

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·      Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.

·      Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

·      Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.

·      Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally (approximately 20–40%).

Preferred

·      Experience working with international distributors or import/export businesses.

·      Knowledge of the commercial fitness industry.

·      Ability to speak a second language is a plus (Spanish, Mandarin, or other languages).
