Job description

The IT Applications Manager - HR shall help provide leadership management to the HR and Production (Kronos) area. This position will provide subject matter expertise and act as the business unit consultant pertaining to technology and support the business in its charge to develop and maintain computing capabilities and services that meet the needs of the organization. This position will be responsible for all Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) aspects of the HR and Production (Kronos) area including supervision of information technology application employees, recommendations for technical acquisitions and development of guidelines, standards and procedures. The IT Applications Manager - HR is tasked with helping define the strategic planning, tactical and operational decision making to fulfill the mission of the IT department.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Proactively make recommendations to business managers in respect to technology (HR, Production).
  2. Responsible for managing Mountaire staff, suppliers and service companies associated to a defined list of applications. Maintain adequate domain knowledge of the business strategies to ensure maximum value realization.
  3. Provide support to IT Leadership in program operations including, budget/forecasting, financial reconciliation, vendor management and procurement. Experience in Oracle HCM a must.
  4. Holistic project monitoring, controls, team integration and corrective action as needed. Ensure the application of project management best practices and company software development lifecycle (SDLC) standards are appropriate.
  5. Configure and support any third-party application as needed.
