The Client Implementation Lead is responsible for the successful onboarding of new clients and the management of high‑profile or complex projects, from initial planning through completion, invoicing, and operational handoff. This role serves as the primary point of coordination between the customer and internal partners across Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Product Management, and Finance, as well as subcontractors and vendors. The Client Implementation Lead combines project management, technical product knowledge, customer relationship management, and financial oversight, with strong communication, documentation, organization, and follow‑through as core requirements for success.

Essential Functions

  • Lead high‑touch onboarding and implementation for new clients, programs, and high‑profile projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer throughout initial project execution.
  • Manage assigned projects from initial setup through completion, invoicing, and documentation to ensure a smooth operational handoff.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, responsibilities, reporting requirements, and communication plans.
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and scopes of work to prepare accurate project pricing.
  • Coordinate special‑order products, scheduling, delivery requirements, and field resources.
  • Monitor project scope, cost, pricing, margin, timelines, and change orders.
  • Provide timely project updates, customer reporting, meeting notes, and supporting documentation.
  • Resolve customer, field, technical, and scheduling issues, escalating significant concerns as needed.
  • Ensure completed projects include the documentation required for accurate, timely invoicing.
  • Build strong customer relationships to support the successful transition of new clients into ongoing operations.
  • Establish company systems, customer portals, and client‑specific SOWs, playbooks, and related documentation.
  • Schedule, conduct, and present customer‑facing meetings, whether onsite, by video conference, or by phone.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of project management, client implementation, or account management experience, preferably within construction, security integration, or building products industries.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong project management, organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple customers, projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Knowledge of commercial doors, frames, hardware, specialty products, access control, video, intrusion, construction, security services, or a related industry.
  • Understanding of project costs, pricing, margins, change orders, and invoicing.
  • Ability to build strong cross‑functional relationships and coordinate effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency with ERP, CRM, Microsoft Office, and customer portal systems.

Physical Demands
