Job description

Job Description Everforth ECS is seeking a Technical Documentation & Data Developer to work onsite at the USPS Maintenance and Technical Support Service Center (MTSC) in Norman, OK. This exciting role researches, develops, publishes, and maintains digital technical documentation libraries that outline maintenance processes and procedures, as well as machine, equipment and electro-mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and component-level configuration information. This role also troubleshoots workflows for industrial/commercial mail processing and automation equipment, to include desktop or on-location verification and on-equipment validation tasks with little to no support. Job Responsibilities * Utilize engineering and OEM source documentation to research, develop, publish, and maintain Technical Documentation * Develop, draft, outline and document maintenance procedures, assembly, subassembly, and component-level configuration information * Troubleshoot workflows for Industrial/Commercial Mail Processing Equipment to include desktop or on-location verification and on-equipment validation tasks with little to no support from Subject Matter Expert(s). * Identify contractual noncompliance issues, informational inaccuracies, and documentation inconsistencies in Maintenance Documentation Deliverables such as technical and engineering source data and takes corrective action(s) via detailed correspondence for submittal to Customer's Program Office. * Work as a member of a team that researches, develops, publishs, and maintains digital Technical Documentation, while adhering to prescribed schedules and budgets accordingly. * Travels within the United States up to 25% of the time to support or perform maintenance documentation related tasks and technical information collection. Note: To be considered candidates must be able to obtain a USPS Public Trust background clearance. This requires US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status (Green Card), and the ability to pass an in-depth background check. Note: This position requires working onsite at the USPS customer site in Norman, OK. Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually Required Skills * Requiring little to no supervision, performs all TDD II job description duties. * Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance. * Familiar with System Engineering or Engineering Lifecycle Management. * Proficient with MS Office or other productivity software suites. * Working knowledge of technical and/or engineering documentation development to include having a baseline level of writing proficiency or ability to apply stylistic writing requirements based on a set of guidelines. * Possess technical training/education and general working level knowledge of industrial equipment systems (mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, software, and machine communications). * Requires an associate degree in area of specialty. Will consider a combination of education, technical / military training, professional certifications, and work experience. * 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area Desired Skills * Familiar with graphics and photo editing software suites. * Familiar with Vasont. * Working knowledge of XML authoring tools such as XMetaL or Adobe FrameMaker. * Working knowledge of ServiceNow or other workflow management platforms. * Familiar with Agile Methodology practices including Scrum Master duties.
