Job description

Join Our Paw-some Team!

Are you an admin unicorn with INSURANCE smarts and NEW-PATIENT charm?

You love details- but maybe not just organization? If you’re skilled with perfectly verified insurance benefits but also miss the variety and creativity that comes with helping a nervous new patient feel genuinely cared for, then keep reading! You might be the person we’ve been waiting for and– did we mention–our office dog, Benny? He’s basically the office celebrity, and he’s waiting for you to pet him!

Here’s what you’ll love about us:

  • 16 hours of paid CE time to keep your skills sharp
  • 401(k) with 3% employer contributions (we’re planning for your future while you plan your next vacation)
  • Monthly bonuses and annual CE trips (yes, we really send you on trips, we’re that cool)
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)—because life’s unpredictable, but we’ve got your back
  • 48 hours of PTO + $250 yearly expense account (scrubs, CE, whatever you need)
  • In-house dental plan (your smile—and your family’s—are covered)
  • Medical, vision, life, & disability insurance—we’ve got you covered from head to toe
  • Tax-advantaged accounts, accident & critical illness insurance
  • Telemedicine, Rx discounts, pet insurance & more (because we love all our patients— even the furry ones!)

Your Schedule, Your Sunshine:

  • Full-time, 32 hours/week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
  • Wednesdays off —yes, really—a mid-week breather!
  • Hours:
  • 7 AM – 3 PM on Monday, Thursday, and Friday (so you can catch some daylight and still have time to do something fun after work!)
  • 8 AM – 5 PM on Tuesday (enjoy that extra hour of sleep!)

Who we are: We’re Prairie Village Dentists, a family-owned practice with 50+ years of experience, a solid reputation, and a knack for keeping things light. We believe in taking care of our team, so they can take care of our patients. If you're looking for a place to grow, laugh, and make a difference, look no further!

⭐ Our Core Values

Here’s the magic Benny guards with his whole fluffy heart (and these values are non-negotiable—no exceptions, no wiggle room, no “but maybe”… if they don’t light you up and give you the warm fuzzies, this won’t be your pack!):

  1. Lift Each Other — We swoop in to help, cheer loudly, share wins, and have each other’s backs—always.
  2. Radiate Kindness — Warm hearts. Soft edges. Always human.
  3. Chase Better — Always learning, improving, tinkering, innovating. Growth is our sport!
  4. Smile On Purpose — We bring the positive energy intentionally — even on the wild days.

What we’re looking for:

  • A curious soul who loves to learn and is always looking for their next “aha!” moment (aka- a lifelong learner!)
  • A teammate through and through—someone who lifts others up and knows how to lean on their crew when needed
  • Someone who gets a little spark in their eye when they hear the word “innovation”
  • Reliable, ready to roll up their sleeves, and maybe sneak in a quick belly rub for Benny between patients!
  • …and if you’ve got an eye for a cute candid or a witty caption, maybe help us shine a little brighter on Instagram and Facebook too?
  • Brownie points if you like to flex an I.T. muscle from time to time!

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Be our insurance detective , digging up all the benefits deets!
  • Master the message flow — emails, faxes, mail… you keep the information highway moving
  • Turn weekly stats into your mini-mission (quick, clear, satisfying!)
  • Keep A/R lists crisp, clean, and under control — the kind of tidy that makes your soul happy
  • Be the first friendly voice new patients hear —collect their paperwork, insurance, x-rays, and history, and make them think, “Wow… these people really care.”
  • Roll out the red carpet by crafting a first impression so warm and seamless they’ll swear we’ve known them for years
  • Be the VIP handler for all incoming lab cases —open each one like a tiny treasure chest, check every detail (name, tooth, shade, sparkle level), and then give patients a cheerful “Guess what—your case is IN!” call
  • Keep our clinical engine running smooth-as-butter by helping with autoclave TLC, ultrasonic bubble magic, weekly spore-test science experiments, and other behind-the-scenes wizardry that keeps the whole practice humming

Got dreams that go beyond admin work? Maybe you’re into marketing, mentoring, polishing workflows, or diving into tech. Whatever you’re passionate about, we want to hear it. We LOVE building roles around people’s strengths, not forcing people into rigid boxes. Let’s create a role that brings out the best in ** you** - supported and celebrated!

We support each other’s aspirations and protect schedules that honor your brain, your joy, and your FAMILY. This is a place where your ideas are heard, your growth is cheered on, and your day-to-day can evolve with you.

So, if you're craving a role that doesn’t feel like just another job—where ** you** matter, your skills grow, you're part of a supportive (and seriously fun!) team, and you get to make people smile while using your best dog voice daily—we can’t wait to meet you! Come for the variety… Stay for the vibes (and the Benny belly rubs)!
