Job description

Warehouse Associate
Automation Personnel Services is looking for Warehouse Associates for companies based in Alexandria, Lorton, and Springfield, VA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to become part of a supportive warehouse team that values communication, reliability, and a strong sense of teamwork.
Pay Rate
$15.86-$18.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Multiple shifts available; schedules vary by warehouse location.
Warehouse Associate’s Duties and Responsibilities
  • Pick, pack, and prepare custom orders with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks or forklifts (training provided when required)
  • Sort, stage, and organize outgoing materials
  • Move products throughout the warehouse using manual or powered equipment
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures, PPE requirements, and equipment guidelines
  • Assist with general warehouse tasks assigned, including restocking and material handling
Warehouse Associate’s Qualifications and Requirements
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift, with comfort working on your feet in a physical environment
  • Previous warehouse, logistics, or general labor experience is helpful, but not required for all assignments
  • Familiarity with basic warehouse tools or equipment such as pallet jacks, scanners, or RF devices, with training available when needed
  • Strong attention to detail when picking, packing, labeling, or verifying orders
