Position Title: Account Manager - Machine Tool Systems

Salary: $151,653- $165,240 per year

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/ Week

Summary of Duties: Expand the business to meet or exceed your set quota by increasing Siemens' share of wallet and entering into new accounts. Develop, expand and cultivate long-term relationships with key contacts within the customer organization including C-level. Negotiate pricing deals, sales agreements and project support. Drive direct sales of the Siemens CNC hardware and software portfolio with domestic machine tool builders. Orchestrate your assigned account team and take responsibility to develop and execute strategic account plans to ensure achievement of set business goals in alignment with Siemens business strategy. Work closely with marketing to create and distribute customer success stories increasing recognition of Siemens Machine Tool Systems in the US. Be the trusted advisor of your customers to guide them into new markets (e.g. composite or additive manufacturing) and the use of new technologies (e.g. CNC robotics, digital twins, IoT, etc.). Approximately 30-40% travel required. Remote employment permitted.

Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Management, Engineering or a related field and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered, as an Account Manager - Machine Tool Systems or an acceptable alternate occupation. Alternately will accept an Associate's degree in Management, Engineering or a related field and ten (10) years of experience in the job offered, as an Account Manager - Machine Tool Systems or an acceptable alternate occupation. Position requires experience with the following: Position requires five (5) years of sales experience with machine tools or CNC controls/automation equipment, e.g. account management or business development, with consistent quota achievement. Position requires experience with the following: understanding of CNC controls, industrial automation technologies, and digitalization; experience in selling complex solutions or systems in the manufacturing industry; knowledge of major growth industries, markets and technologies (additive and composite manufacturing, digitalization, e-mobility, aerospace or electronics industry). Approximately 30-40% travel required. Remote employment permitted.
