About the Position
The Logistics Sales Executives play a key role in managing transportation for customers in the ITS network. This position focuses on the procurement, management, service, and execution across multiple supply chains, ensuring goods moves efficiently and reliably from origin to destination. Team members work closely with customers, carriers, and internal partners to deliver creative logistics solutions while maintaining service expectations. Responsibilities include:
Capacity Procurement
  • Procure capacity to ensure transportation of customer's freight happens timely and efficiently.
  • Source and vet capacity to ensure carrier met ITS high standards of excellence and safety.
  • Provide solutions to customer's supply chain challenges in time-sensitive, high pressure situations.
  • Balance competitiveness with operational expectations in alignment with customer requirements.
  • Negotiate rates with and carrier partners.

Customer Service and Relationship Management
  • Maintain constant communication with customers to meet service expectations.
  • Build relationships with carriers to thoroughly execute on customer's requirements.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams and departments across the division to optimize all shipments in the ITS Network.

Transportation Management
  • Track all shipments consistently throughout transit to ensure on time pick up and delivery.
  • Provide real time updates to customers on the location of their goods.
  • Ensure excellent data integrity in all systems.
  • Efficiently pair shipments across the network and multiple teams to minimize cost.

About the Requirements
Experience:
  • 0-8 years of professional experience preferred (entry-level position).
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment.
  • Previous experience in customer management is a plus.
  • Proficient with MS Office Products (Word and Excel).

Education:
  • Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
