Summary
The Manager - Finished Vehicle Business Development (Sales) is responsible for leading strategic sales and business development initiatives across key international automotive clients operating in the U.S. This role oversees global RFQs, drives the creation of integrated logistics solutions- including Port Processing, Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) operations, Land Transportation, and Consolidation Center services-and builds long-term partnerships with multinational corporations. The position plays a critical role in expanding market presence, strengthening customer relationships, and delivering end-to-end value across the vehicle logistics lifecycle.
Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic sales plans, customer-specific solutions, and presentation materials to support business development efforts
    • Respond to global RFQs with competitive, tailored logistics solutions
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Pricing, Legal, IT, and Compliance to support seamless implementation and service execution
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-value customers, ensuring retention, satisfaction, and growth
    • Lead customer onboarding, including SOP development, billing setup, and system/system integration activities
    • Provide market intelligence on industry trends, customer demand, competitor activities, and pricing benchmarks
    • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and prepare regular reports on performance, risks, and forecasts
    • Develop joint business plans and quarterly business reviews with strategic clients to support mutual long-term objectives
    • Represent the company during customer visits, reviews, and industry events to enhance visibility and credibility
    • Identify new vertical opportunities across sectors such as e-commerce, automotive, electronics, and industrial logistics
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
    • Acquire and manage multinational OEM accounts requiring multimodal logistics support
    • Lead RFQ/RFI responses and align pricing strategy with regional capabilities and customer expectations
    • Serve as primary contact for OEM clients, ensuring consistency in communication and service delivery
    • Design and implement customized logistics programs tailored to global supply chain structures
    • Drive revenue growth by identifying upselling opportunities across multiple services
    • Deliver data-driven performance reviews to maintain transparency and drive continuous improvement
    • Monitor KPIs and financial metrics including gross margin, service level, and client satisfaction
    • Proactively identify risks and lead mitigation plans to ensure service reliability for high-profile clients
    • Represent Glovis in executive-level client meetings, contract negotiations, and global strategy forums
    • Other duties as assigned

Compensation Range
$101,000 - $113,000 annually (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
