Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced International Freight & Logistics Sales Manager to develop and grow profitable business across air freight, ocean freight, U.S. and Mexico cross-border freight, and ground transportation.

This position is responsible for new business development, strategic sales planning, customer relationship management, and revenue and gross-profit growth. The ideal candidate is a proven logistics sales professional who can identify customer supply-chain needs and develop effective multimodal transportation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop, and secure new customers.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans for targeted markets and accounts.
  • Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline.
  • Sell domestic and international air freight, FCL/LCL ocean freight, U.S. and Mexico cross-border, truckload, LTL, expedited, and related logistics services.
  • Develop customized Air+ Ocean +Cross-Border+ Ground transportation solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, bids, and RFP responses.
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within company guidelines.
  • Meet or exceed revenue, gross-profit, and new-business targets.
  • Develop strong relationships with transportation, supply-chain, purchasing, and operations decision-makers.
  • Expand existing accounts through additional transportation services.
  • Work closely with operations, pricing, finance, customer service, customs partners, and leadership.
  • Maintain accurate CRM, pipeline, and sales forecast information.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or supply-chain sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new business and develop profitable customer accounts.
  • Working knowledge of air freight, ocean freight, and cross-border transportation.
  • Strong understanding of transportation pricing, margins, and customer negotiations.
  • Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience using CRM or sales-pipeline management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and remain accountable for sales results.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid U.S. passport and be eligible for international business travel.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require.
