Job Purpose:
The Warehouse Supervisor plan, organize, supervise and participate in the operations and activities of the FreshOne Warehouse; train, assign, supervise and evaluate assigned staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Roles and responsibilities may include, but won't be limited to, the following:
• Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of equipment and supplies and maintenance of inventory.
• Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees; assign workloads to warehouse workers.
• Receive, unpack, pack, load, issue, store and deliver materials, and equipment; complete packing slips for shipments as assigned.
• Oversee deliveries and supervise the processing of requisitions and maintain stock levels.
• Prepare and maintain a variety of records and logs and prepare reports as required.
• Monitor automated warehousing system; operate computer equipment as necessary.
• Operate and demonstrate use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary including but limited to palette jacks and forklifts
• Assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Celebrates wins with the team and encourages and recognizes those that successfully fulfill their duties and demonstrate the FreshOne Core Values.
Core Skills/Background:
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience. Associates Degree preferred.
• Food warehousing experience in dry/refrigerated and frozen ESSENTIAL
• 5 years warehouse experience including knowledge OSHA and Safety regulations, and at least 3 years supervisory experience.
• The ability to make decisions, problem solve, prioritize assignments, and direct the workforce in an ever-changing, warehouse environment.
