Overview

The Account Executive - Food Logistics is responsible for creating, growing and managing an account base. Accountable to directly identify and initiate development efforts. Develop and execute a field sales business plan that will achieve the corporate revenue goals. To be successful, this position will leverage their past progressive experience in food logistics and/or transportation industries.

Responsibilities
  • Accountable to directly identify and initiate business development opportunities
  • Develops new business across all of our core competencies
  • Identify, initiate and engage with clients that provide sustained and profitable revenue streams across multiple services
  • Develop and execute a business plan that will achieve sales quota and budget as defined by the company
  • Work closely with local, regional and international operations staff to ensure customers' needs and expectations are met
  • Manage sales pipeline and monthly target reports
  • Present an array of logistics solutions that enable numerous entry points into accounts
  • All other business duties as deems necessary
  • The wage range for this position is $61,630.00-$92,450.00 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience

Other Skills We Hope to See:

  • 3-5 years of sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience in Food Logistics preferred
  • Experience in transportation preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think and respond quickly to sales and service issues.

In addition to your base compensation, you may be eligible for commissions up to 6% based on specific sales goals and objectives (dependent on position).
