Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Logistics Helper to support our logistics and distribution operations. This role assists with coordinating incoming imports, outgoing deliveries, inventory movement, shipping documentation, and warehouse logistics activities. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with receiving and processing incoming shipments and imported products
  • Prepare shipping documents, packing lists, and delivery paperwork
  • Coordinate inventory transfers and product movement within the warehouse
  • Support delivery scheduling and shipment tracking activities
  • Verify order accuracy before dispatch
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
  • Communicate with warehouse staff, drivers, and logistics personnel regarding shipment status
  • Maintain accurate logistics and inventory records
  • Help resolve shipment discrepancies and delivery issues
  • Follow food safety, warehouse safety, and company procedures

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
  • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or food distribution is preferred but not required

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with shipping and receiving processes
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems
  • Experience working in food distribution, import/export, or supply chain operations
