Job description

We are now hiring team leads to join the team at our Napoleon, OH location! Located atP314 County Road 12, Napoleon, OH 43545. If you're looking for long-term employment with a company you can grow with, this is the position for you!

Looking for someone to monitor repackaging production, set up production lines, and ensure scheduled production is completed.

Hiring for both 1st shift and 3rd shift positions.

1st shift hours: Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. If overtime is necessary, end time will be 4:00 p.m.

3rd shift hours: Monday through Friday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. If overtime is necessary, start time will be 8:00 p.m.

Must pass a drug screen and a criminal background check prior to employment.

Job Summary:Responsible for proper setup and operation of repackaging activities at a line. Responsible for the supervision of personnel assigned to their line, and responsible for the execution of repackaging metrics set forth by the Packaging Supervisor.

What you'll be doing:
  • Set up line for operations.
    • Includes checking for hygienic operation, setting up machine and printer settings if necessary, and verifying proper setup.
  • Complete tests for competency of setup, operation, and troubleshooting of machines.
  • Set line members at line positions that will maximize production efficiency and morale.
    • Involves rotation line positions periodically.
  • Monitor repackaging production and ensure scheduled production is completed.
  • Determine disposition of damaged product, isolate it, and either move it to the Damage area of the warehouse or destroy it at the end of the shift.
  • Ensure line area is cleaned and ready for the start of the next shift, at the end of the shift and notate on the Line Lead Report as a daily inspection of hygienic operation.
  • Complete all Line Lead reports as required by Packaging Supervisor.
  • For food grade warehouses, follow all food safety standards set forth in a facility and actively participate in the food safety culture.
  • Follow 5S Protocols.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Ability to recognize and respond to unsafe working conditions.
  • Takes direction from leadership and gets along well with others.
  • Skilled in supervising and motivating team members to meet production schedule.
  • Ability to stoop, push, pull, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
Additional Qualifications and Experience:
  • Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must be willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as requested by Supervisor.
Working Conditions:
  • Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
