Description:

The Logistics Analyst is responsible for analyzing, optimizing supply chain and logistics operations and other multiple processes as required to improve efficiency, reduce costs, meet regulatory requirements and ensure timely delivery of goods. This role uses data analysis, forecasting, and process improvement techniques to support transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution activities with reporting analytics and presentations.


Essential Functions:

  • Analyze and maintain reporting for logistics and supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities
  • Works with Finance team in supporting Logistics and Warehouse departments in analysis, budget formulations, cost efficiency reporting, etc.
  • Monitors transportation performance and shipping costs.
  • Supports inventory management and meets storage requirements.
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities and recommends operational enhancements.
  • Manages, audits and analyzes supply orders to ensure efficient ordering is being followed and to find value choices when selecting future vendors.


Education:

  • Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) Accounting / Finance / Business degree or other related fields - Preferred
  • High School or GED - Required

Experience:

  • 2 years or more in Analytical experience
