Job description

 Title: Transaction Processor
Location: 801 Royal Parkway, Nashville, TN 37214
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM until work is completed
Type:3+ Months Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $20/hr W2

 Position Summary:The Administrative Transaction Processor is responsible for supporting Lockbox operations by extracting, reviewing, and preparing payments and documents according to specific client requirements. This role involves working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment with a focus on accuracy, organization, and adherence to established procedures.You will work under direct supervision, following standard workflows and guidelines. Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail are required.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties):
  • Operate mail extraction equipment and make payment processing decisions based on customer instructions.
  • Perform both manual and automated sorting of work according to client requirements.
  • Stage and organize documents in an accurate, presentable format for customer capture.
  • Ensure all documents presented for processing are "clean” and ready for imaging and data capture.
  • Meet or exceed established productivity, quality, and accuracy standards.
  • Cross-train and support various functions within the Lockbox department as needed.

Other Responsibilities (Non-Essential Duties)
  • Support additional Lockbox modules such as RDE, Scanning, Mail Distribution, and Validations.
  • Perform general clerical duties as assigned.

Education & Experience (Preferred):
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in payments/remittance processing or a similar production-based environment.

Knowledge & Skills (Required):
  • Basic computer operation skills (touch screen, mouse, rebooting, etc.).
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent hand–eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Basic troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong communication and customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow routine procedures consistently.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods in the morning (up to 1–2 hours).
  • Frequent movement throughout the day is required, including repeatedly standing and sitting to retrieve printed headers and organize work
