At North Sky Communications, LLC, as a Foreman, you'll lead the hands-on deployment of critical telecommunications infrastructure within Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs), residential, and commercial spaces. Positioned directly under the Project Supervisor, you will serve as the essential, on-site link managing our field team, enforcing quality and safety standards, and ensuring daily production metrics are smoothly reported back to management.

What you'll do
  • Field Leadership: Directly lead, mentor, and work alongside field crews performing pathway creation, fiber pull/drop installations, lockbox placements, and wireless infrastructure builds.
  • Supervisor Alignment: Act as the primary conduit between the field team and the Project Supervisor; provide accurate daily production notes, labor tracking, and operational status updates.
  • Hands-on Execution: Actively assist crews in technical installations, including interpreting engineering schematics, resolving real-time physical roadblocks, and operating tools/machinery.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct field audits to ensure all work strictly complies with customer specifications, structural blueprints, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
  • Safety First: Enforce unwavering adherence to company safety policies, OSHA standards, and environmental regulations on active job sites.
  • Site Management: Coordinate with property managers or owners to ensure smooth site access and minimal disruption to residents.
  • Work overtime, travel, and handle on-call or after-hours responsibilities as directed by management in all weather conditions.

What you'll need
  • To be 18 years of age or older.
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
  • High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
  • Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record.

Experience: 3+ years of technical experience in telecommunications construction, specifically focusing on MDU cabling, fiber optic networks, or wireless setups.
Leadership: 1+ years of experience working in a lead capacity or as a field foreman.
  • Strong knowledge of low-voltage pathways, structured cabling infrastructure, and blueprint reading.

Physical abilities & exposures
  • Routinely: Work at heights and in confined spaces (attics, crawl spaces, utility closets), work alone in remote locations, operate vehicles and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift objects greater than 55 pounds without assistance.
