Job Title: Lockbox Operations Specialist

Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour- please note this rate may be below your state’s minimum wage. Consider this when applying.

Location: Los, Angeles, CA.

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Lockbox Operations Specialist to support banking operations through accurate, high-volume transaction processing. This role requires strong attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process lockbox transactions accurately and on time while meeting productivity standards

  • Slice, count, sort, and distribute incoming mail

  • Open envelopes and batch checks, invoices, and coupons per client instructions

  • Scan documents using high-speed scanners (OPEX Falcon)

  • Perform data entry and reassociation of check images and backup documents

  • Prepare outgoing mail with pre-coded alphanumeric data

  • Follow internal controls, security protocols, and banking regulations

  • Escalate issues promptly to management to avoid client impact

  • Support other operations and administrative tasks as needed

  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment

Qualifications

  • Bank operations, item processing, or related experience preferred but not required

  • Strong 10-key and data entry skills preferred

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Reliable attendance and flexibility to work additional hours with little notice

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly and follow detailed instructions

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $35,880 -$44,850.
