Job Title: Accounts Receivable / Cash Applications Specialist (Temp)
Location: Boca Raton, FL (Fully Onsite)
Pay Rate: $22/hour
Employment Type: Temporary
Position Overview:
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable / Cash Applications Specialist for a temporary opportunity in Boca Raton. This role will focus on high-volume cash posting, payment application, and supporting the AR team with daily transactional activity. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Post and apply customer payments (ACH, wire, check, credit card) accurately and timely
  • Reconcile daily cash receipts and investigate any discrepancies
  • Process lockbox transactions and ensure proper allocation of funds
  • Assist with unapplied cash and resolve payment issues
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and adjustments
  • Support AR team with account research and follow-up as needed
  • Communicate with internal teams to resolve payment-related inquiries
Qualifications:
  • 1+ year of accounts receivable or cash applications experience
  • Strong data entry skills with high level of accuracy
  • Experience working with high-volume transactions preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
  • Ability to work onsite in Boca Raton on a full-time schedule
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
