This is position is located at our corporate office in Westmont, IL and requires 3-5 days a week onsite

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to join our team. The Senior LMS Administrator will play a key role in managing and optimizing the organization's LMS to support effective learning and development initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing administration of the LMS.

Responsibilities

LMS Administration

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Cornerstone LMS, including user management, content uploads, and system configurations.
  • Configure and customize the LMS to meet organizational needs, including user roles, permissions, and system integrations.

Content Management

  • Manage the creation, organization, and maintenance of training content within the LMS.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers and content developers to ensure seamless integration of courses and materials.
  • Implement version control and archival processes for learning content.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Generate and analyze reports to track user progress, completion rates, and other relevant metrics.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data to optimize training programs and enhance the effectiveness of learning initiatives.

User Training and Support

  • Develop and deliver training programs for LMS users, administrators, and other stakeholders.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for LMS-related inquiries, providing timely and effective support to users.

System Optimization

  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate the LMS with other systems and tools, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and trends in learning technology to identify opportunities for system improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to implement enhancements, updates, and new features within the LMS.

Compliance and Security

  • Ensure that the LMS complies with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard sensitive training data.

Vendor Management

  • Collaborate with LMS vendors to address technical issues, updates, and system enhancements.
  • Evaluate and recommend new features or upgrades that align with organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Information Technology, Computer Science, Education Technology, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Proven experience as an LMS Administrator, with a certification/focus on Cornerstone LMS.
  • Experience with system integrations and API usage.
  • Project management skills for LMS-related initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of learning and development principles and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with SCORM and other e-learning standards.
  • Relevant certifications in LMS administration are a plus
