Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and responsible Live-In House Manager to oversee daily operations at our Scranton sober living home. The House Manager lives on-site and plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, stable environment where residents can focus on recovery, growth, and personal responsibility.
Key ResponsibilitiesLive on-site and serve as the primary point of contact for residents.
Maintain a safe, sober, and structured living environment.
Uphold and enforce house rules fairly and consistently.
Lead regular house meetings and promote a positive community culture.
Monitor resident compliance with curfews, chores, attendance, and program expectations.
Conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness and safety.
Support admissions and discharges in coordination with leadership.
Address conflicts, emergencies, or crises promptly and professionally.
Serve as a positive role model for recovery, accountability, and healthy boundaries.
QualificationsMinimum 1–2 years of continuous sobriety required.
Experience in sober living, peer support, or recovery leadership preferred.
Strong communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
Organized, reliable, and able to set and maintain healthy boundaries.
Valid driver’s license (for resident transport).
Commitment to fostering a supportive, recovery-focused environment.
Compensation & BenefitsFree housing provided onsite at the Brentwood home.
Groceries expensed / provided.
$200 weekly stipend.
Percentage of collected rent.
$1,500 completion stipend after 6 months.
