Licensing Administrator

Our Licensing Administrator role could be just the spot to start your career with XTRA Lease. If you have strong attention to detail along with great communication skills, this job could be a great fit for you!

As a Licensing Administrator, a typical day would include:

  • Resolving traffic citations by responding to the issuing entity and/or invoicing customer as needed.
  • Partnering with finance companies and XTRA Lease branch teams to assist in trailer sales (providing proper documentation needed to fund sales, releasing titles, and cancelling registration on sold equipment).
  • Coordinating and maintaining titles and registrations for all XTRA Lease equipment.
  • Working directly with the DMV to register and title new trailers purchased from our manufacturers.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of VIN numbers and associated license plates. Auditing electronic and paper data for accuracy.
  • Acting as an internal and third party contact for citations, licensing, registration, and sales.
  • Researching state specific requirements related to title and licensing.
  • Running reports regularly to catch errors and ensure accuracy.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; College degree preferred.
  • Minimum two years of administrative experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under deadline.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Previous experience coordinating vehicle title and licensing in a vehicle auction, car rental, or other large fleet setting preferred, but not necessary.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Access a plus
