The Opportunity:

As a Customer Service Assistant with Roehl Transport, you play a key part in our mission of delivering "confidence and satisfaction" to our customers. In this position, you will:
  • Schedule pick-up and delivery appointments for freight while taking into account factors such as customer requirements, legal transit time, and driver productivity
  • Communicate effectively with customers via telephone, email, and other forms of communication to grow and develop relationships
  • Work collaboratively with Roehl teammates to identify and resolve customer and scheduling conflicts
  • Maintain accurate notes regarding customer interactions and preferred scheduling protocols
  • Entering Customer loads with accurate information and in a timely manner
  • Managing trailer pools as needed to maintain customers' expectations
  • Using your knowledge and skills to make educated decisions
  • Ensure all loads are meeting the customers' service expectations

The Fit:
In this role, you work directly with customers, fleet managers, and your customer service team to develop business, find creative solutions and build strong relationships established on trust. As a Customer Service Assistant you will be developing your knowledge and skills in transportation to be able to advance into Customer Service Representative position.
