Job description

GGL is seeking a Legal Technologist who will be an integral part of building and maintaining the technical infrastructure of our case management systems. You will serve as the bridge between legal professionals and tech solutions, helping leverage technology that will improve efficiency, enhance client service and streamline workflows.
The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with a strong understanding of legal workflows and business operations. You are a problem solver who seeks opportunities for process improvement that drives measurable results.
Responsibilities
  • Support the firm's legal tech infrastructure, including case management system (Smart Advocate), workflow automation and AI platforms.
  • Evaluate new tools and make recommendations that align with business objectives.
  • Configure systems, workflows, permissions, dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Manage software upgrades, implementations and integrations.
  • Be the main point of contact for legal tech related issues and enhancements.
  • Collaborate on training programs for attorneys, paralegals, intake and operational teams.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting legal technology, business systems, or enterprise applications.
  • Strong understanding of project management and business process improvement.
  • Proven experience working with software implementations and system administration.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Experience working within a law firm or legal services environment, preferred
