About the Position
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and professional Legal Assistant to support our attorneys and legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing case files, preparing legal documents, maintaining client communications, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily legal and administrative activities.
This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, draft, and file legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
  • Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties.
  • Schedule appointments, hearings, depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
  • Monitor deadlines and maintain attorney calendars.
  • Assist with document collection, discovery responses, and case preparation.
  • File documents with courts and government agencies through electronic filing systems.
  • Support attorneys and paralegals with trial preparation and administrative tasks.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; Associate's degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
