Position Overview

Yampaglia Law is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Case Coordinator to join our growing team. The Legal Case Coordinator plays a vital role in managing the day-to-day progress of legal matters by serving as the primary liaison between clients, attorneys, medical providers, insurance companies, courts, and other parties.

The ideal candidate has excellent communication and organizational skills, thrives in a fast-paced legal environment, and is passionate about delivering exceptional client service while ensuring cases move efficiently from intake through resolution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate assigned legal cases from intake through resolution.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case status and required documentation.
  • Schedule consultations, meetings, depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
  • Monitor case deadlines and ensure all tasks are completed on time.
  • Organize, maintain, and update electronic and physical case files.
  • Perform accurate data entry into the firm's case management system.
  • Request and organize medical records, police reports, insurance documents, and other case-related materials.
  • Prepare case summaries and assist attorneys with case preparation.
  • Coordinate communication with opposing counsel, courts, medical providers, experts, and insurance companies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client and firm information.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while supporting attorneys and legal staff.
  • Assist with general administrative and case management duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in legal support, case management, administrative coordination, customer service, insurance claims, or healthcare administration.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal or CRM software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a law firm.
  • Experience with case management software such as Clio, Filevine, MyCase, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and litigation procedures.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
