Job description

Germer PLLC is seeking an experienced full-time Legal Assistant to provide high-level support to attorneys and assigned team members in the firm's Houston office. The Legal Assistant will provide a full range of administrative and litigation support including, but not limited to, document creation, preparation and revision of correspondence, administrative filings, court filings, electronic transcription, expense reimbursement processing, travel arrangements, and calendar maintenance.

This position requires exceptional organizational skills, strong professional administrative experience, and the ability to think independently in a fast-paced legal environment. A successful candidate will maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism while managing multiple priorities.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of recent legal assistant experience in a mid- to large-size law firm
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
  • Possess a strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a high-volume environment with minimal supervision
