We're Hiring: Leave of Absence Manager | Salt Lake City, UT (Relocation Available)
A large, rapidly growing multi-state healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Leave of Absence Manager to lead and evolve enterprise-wide leave and accommodation programs supporting a workforce of 40,000+ employees across multiple states.
This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in complex, high-volume environments and brings deep expertise in multi-state leave administration, ADA accommodations, and operational process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
โข Lead enterprise leave of absence and accommodation programs
โข Oversee FMLA, ADA, PWFA, and state-specific leave compliance
โข Partner closely with a third-party leave administrator to ensure service quality and consistency
โข Drive standardization of policies, workflows, reporting, and operational processes
โข Manage and develop a leave administration team
โข Serve as a subject matter expert for complex leave and accommodation cases
โข Partner cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, Legal, Benefits, Operations, and leadership teams
โข Utilize Workday and reporting tools to improve visibility, compliance, and employee experience
What We're Looking For:
โข 5+ years of progressive leave of absence administration experience in complex multi-state environments
โข Strong expertise in California leave laws and West Coast compliance requirements
โข Deep understanding of ADA accommodations and the interactive process
โข Experience leading or mentoring a team
โข Workday experience strongly preferred
โข Healthcare, large hourly workforce, or other highly regulated industry experience preferred
โข Strong operational mindset with the ability to improve processes at scale
