Description

Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is seeking a Systems Administrator II to support the NIWC PAC Information Technology Management Support Services contract. The Systems Administrator II maintains and supports the integrity, availability, and performance of the organization's operating systems and IT infrastructure. This role performs system maintenance, installs software and hardware upgrades, resolves technical issues, and documents IT systems and procedures. The position ensures efficient system operation, promotes uptime, and supports secure computing environments.


100% onsite


Key Responsibilities:

Perform account and identity management across multiple environments, with a primary focus on administering Microsoft Active Directory utilizing ADUC, DNS, GPO, and WSUS to create, modify, and delete accounts and manage memberships.

Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) credential and token management support, leveraging experience with DoD certificates to ensure secure authentication and access control.

Perform system maintenance tasks, including backups, recovery, and file management.

Acquire, install, configure, and test system software upgrades and computer components.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with hardware, software, and network systems.

Monitor system performance, conduct system testing, and ensure compliance with IT policies, to include auditing and configuration of IT systems and software via STIGs.ย 

Support secure system configurations and maintain VPN, network, and email administration as required.

Assist in licensing management, upgrades management, and IT backup procedures.
